Dana McCracken

A Doctor of Chiropractic in Kirkland,  Dana McCracken is in his 3rd season with Lux Homes and his 5th in the Heat organization.  He is also an assistant for Mark Yoshino at Bellevue Community College.  Dana was a stand out catcher at Lake Washington HS and went on to play at B.C.C and the University of Hawaii. Dana is responsible for hitting and working with our catchers.   An excellent role model in fitness and in character Lux Baseball is fortunate to have Dr. McCracken on the staff once again.

 

Jason Conover

In his 3rd year with Lux Homes, Jason is our Asst Head Coach responsible for our pitching staff.  All Everything at Lake Washington HS,  Jason went onto to pitch at powerhouse L.C. State. Jason has been coaching at this level for several years and brings a wealth of knowledge and savvy to the club. We are excited to have Jason on board to help develop Lux Baseball and its players for the future.

 

Bryan McNaghten

 

Coach McNaghten has been coaching for over 15 years and has been at the helm of the Lux 18 club  for the last three seasons.  A 3 sport stand out in high school, he played college ball in Spokane. Upon his return to the Seattle area he turned  to coaching football & baseball and is currently the Head Baseball coach at Inglemoor HS. A Sergeant with the Kirkland Police Department, Bryan is also an assistant coach for  Frank Naish and the Inglemoor HS football team.

 

 

Frank  Smith

 

Coach Smith is in his 2nd year with Lux Baseall and will assist with the 16U team this summer.  A stand out baseball and football player for Oak Harbor HS, Frank went on to play his college ball roaming the middle infield at Washington State University.  He is also an Assistant coach with the Inglemoor HS Baseball team Frank is a Personal Trainer by profession who works on strength & conditioning with players & will add a great deal to the hitting and defense. He is  responsible for the infielders with Lux Homes

 

 

Brian Duerr

Brian Duerr joins the Lux 18 club this year after two years in the Heat org'n. Brian played at Odea HS and then for Coach Casey at Oregon State. An assistant coach at Capital High School as well, Brian will work the middle infield for Lux this summer.

 

 

 

Derek Bingham

2008 will be Derek’s first year with the Lux Homes organization as the head coach of the U-16 Mickey Mantle team. He is the head coach at Lake Washington HS and the past two summers, Derek served as the head coach of the Kirkland Merchants 16-year old club.  Prior to that, Derek spent the previous five summers coaching in the Seattle Bombers baseball program.
