Conover
is in

season

Baseball
and is
the
director
of
pitching
for the
organization.
An
assistant
for 4
years,
"Connie'
is at
the helm
for his
2nd season
as Head
Coach of
the Lux
18U
club.
All
Everything
at Lake
Washington
HS,
Jason
went
onto to
pitch at
Bellevue
CC and
LC
State.
Jason
has been
coaching
at this
level
for
several
years
and
brings a
wealth
of
knowledge
and
savvy to
the
club.
Jason
and his
lovely
bride
Johanna
are the
proud
parents
of three
and we
thank
them all
for
letting
Jason
come out
to
play.....We
are
excited
to have
Jason on
board to
help
develop Lux
Baseball
and its
players
for the
future.

Joe
Ross
|
Coach
Ross
joins
Lux this
year and
will run
the
hitting
for the
org'n.
The
former
Asst
Head
Coach at
the Univ
of
Washington,
Joe was
responsible
for
hitting
for the
Dawgs
and his
clubs/players
hold
many
Husky &
Pac 10
records.
Coach
Ross is
currently
working
with the
Seattle
Mariner's
& is a
great
addition
to the
program
-

Dana
McCracken
|
Coach
McCracken
is in
his 6th
season
with Lux
Baseball
and 14th
coaching
baseball.
His
primary
responsibilities
will be
working
in the
winter with
our
catchers.
Dana was
an
assistant
to Mark
Yoshino
at
Bellevue
College
where he
enjoyed
a NWAACC
championship
with the
Bulldogs. Dana was a stand
out catcher at Lake Washington HS. He went
on to play at BCC and the University of
Hawaii-Hilo where he was Team Captain while
obtaining
his BA
in
Biology.
Dana
continued
his
education
after
Hawaii
and is
now a
Doctor
of
Chiropractic
with an
office
in
Kirkland.
He is
also the
sole
chiropractor
for the
WNBA
Seattle
Storm
and
the
Bellevue
College
Athletic
program. An
excellent role model in fitness and in
character and Lux Baseball is fortunate to
have Dr.
McCracken
on the
staff. |

Bryan McNaghten
|
The head coach with the 18U club since its
inception, 2010 marks the 2nd season Coach McNaghten
will be working with the younger club heading up the 16U team. During the spring, Coach McNaghten
is Head Coach at Inglemoor HS where he led the
Vikings to the the Crown Division
championship in 2010 & the state playoffs in 2009. A three
sport stand out in high school, he played
college ball in Spokane before turning to
coaching nearly 20 years ago. He has coached
with Kirkland Pepsi, the Kirkland Heat and Lux Baseball maintaining a .700 Win % .
A Sergeant with the Kirkland Police Dept,
Coach McNaghten's service spans 25 years.
A proud father of four grown son's and
husband to an awesome wrestling mom, Coach
McNaghten enjoys hunting his Chesapeake Bay
Retriever Ty, and being around the
high quality people that gravitate towards
Lux Baseball. |

Frank
Smith
|
Coach Smith is in his 5th season with Lux
Baseball. Having coached at both the 16 &
18U levels, he will once again join Coach McNaghten
with the 16U club in 2011. Frank is
also an assistant varsity coach for baseball
Vikings of Inglemoor. From Oak
Harbor HS where he was a two sport stand
out, Coach Smith played his college ball in
the middle infield at Washington State
University. A Personal Trainer, Coach Smith
works with a many of the young men and women
who participate in various sports in the
area from high school through to the pro's. |

Phil
Goguen
|
A long time assistant with Coach McNaghten,
Phil is the pitching coach at Inglemoor and
he will head up the 15U club this season. A
former Cornhusker at U of Nebraska, Phil
went on to pitch in the Cardinals org'n
before turning to coaching. Also a
member of the Kirkland Police Dept, Phil is
a solid addition to the Lux program. |

Zac
Rockwell
|
A former player with the inaugural Lux ball
club, Zac comes back to help coach the 18U
team this summer. An outstanding SS
who graduated from Kings, Zac went onto the
play at Wenatchee CC before turning to
developing players with his former team.

Kyle
Renfro
|
A former player of Coach McNaghten's, Kyle
is rin his 2nd year on
the staff in 2011 and will be the head coach
of the 14 team. An Interlake HS
grad, Renfro pitched at SW Oregon where he
earned NWAACC honors. |

Taylor
Nakamura
|
Taylor is in his 2nd season with Lux and
will assist with the 15U team. he is an
assistant with the underclassman at
Inglemoor HS as well. Taylor played two
years at Edmonds CC and then at Dakota St Univ where he earned his degree in exercise
science. |
